<초록>

우리나라의 아동·청소년정책은 보호가 필요한 아동을 중심으로 하던 것에서 점차 모든 아동·청소년을 대상으로 하는 보편적인 정책으로 확장되고 있다. 아동(18세 미만)과 청소년(9세~24세)은 기존 개념에 따라 연령대가 겹쳐 정책 대상이 중복되는 경우가 많다. 그러나 아동 및 청소년 시설의 현황 분석 및 기준에 대한 연구는 매우 부족한 상황이다. 본 연구는 향후 새롭게 재정비될 아동 및 청소년 정책에서 중점적으로 다뤄야할 시설 공간에 대한 기초 연구를 수행하고, 발전방안을 제안하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 통해 아동 및 청소년 시설 공간의 현재 방향이 건강한 성장과 역량 개발에 중점을 두도록 하며, 동시에 전용 공간을 개선하고 발전시키기 위한 기회로 제공되었으면 한다.

The child and youth policies in South Korea have traditionally focused on children in need of protection. However, these policies are increasingly evolving into universal policies that encompass all children and adolescents. Children (under 18) and adolescents (ages 9 to 24) often overlap in age, resulting in policy targets being duplicated. Despite this, there is a significant lack of research on the current status and standards of child and youth facilities. This study aims to conduct foundational research on the facilities and spaces that should be prioritized in future child and youth policies and to propose developmental strategies. Through this research, the goal is to ensure that the current direction of child and youth facilities focuses on promoting healthy growth and capacity development, while also providing an opportunity to improve and enhance dedicated spaces.
