연구목적: 본 연구는 취업 발달장애인의 자립의지에 영향을 미치는 개인 및 사회적 요인을 통합적으로 분석하여 발달장애인의 자립의지 고취를 위한 종합적이고 효과적인 지원 정책 수립에 기여하고자하는 목적으로 수행되었다. 연구방법: 한국장애인고용공단 고용개발원의 ‘2023년 발달장애인 일과삶 실태조사’ 자료에서 발달장애인 보호자 756명의 응답 자료를 활용하였다. 개인적 요인인 수단적일상생활수행능력, 의사소통능력, 직업능력과 사회적 요인인 가족지지, 사회관계망, 직장 만족도가자립의지에 미치는 영향을 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 살펴보았다. 연구결과: 발달장애인의 연령, 월평균 임금, 수단적 일상생활수행능력, 직업능력, 가족지지, 사회관계망, 직장 만족도가 자립의지에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 또는 시사점: 발달장애인의 자립의지를 고취하기 위해연령 및 장애유형을 고려한 맞춤형 지원과 더불어 사회관계망 확대를 위한 정책적 지원이 필요함을강조하였다.

Purpose: This study aims to comprehensively analyze the personal and social factors influencing the independence motivation of employed individuals with developmental disabilities and contribute to the establishment of effective and comprehensive support policies to enhance their independence motivation. Method: To achieve this, data from the “2023 Survey on the Work and Life of Individuals with Developmental Disabilities” by the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled were used. Responses from 756 caregivers of individuals with developmental disabilities were analyzed through correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. Results: The study found that demographic variables such as age, monthly income, personal factors including instrumental activities of daily living ability and job skills, and social factors such as family support, social networks and job satisfaction positively influence the independence motivation of individuals with developmental disabilities. Conclusion or Implications: To enhance the independence motivation of individuals with developmental disabilities, it is essential to provide tailored support that considers their age and type of disability, alongside policy measures aimed at expanding their social networks.
